The Foundation for Indigenous Communities in Paraguay

The Foundation for Indigenous Communities in Paraguay, seated in Ramlinsburg, Switzerland, was founded in 1997 and holds the money collected in Europe in trust. It coordinates the activities of the Swiss and German sections of the Society for the Promotion of Indigenous Land Claims in the Chaco of Paraguay, examines and ratifies the contracts of land purchase and pays the vendors.

The Swiss Society for the Promotions of Indigenous Land Claims in the Chaco of Paraguay is the supporting society of the Foundation. It coordinates the activities with its Paraguayan partners, maintains negotiations with European landowners, is responsible for the raising of funds and maintains the contact with its members and donors as well as with Swiss governmental institutions.

The German Society for the Promotion of Indigenous Land Claims in the Chaco of Paraguay pursues the same aims and is particularly active in raising money in Germany. Its seat is in Eimeldingen near the city of Lörrach.
